BP25- #14 Texas Tech Red Raiders

Well scoreboard operators make sure are the bulbs are screwed in tightly, because as usual the Leachster is ready to continue his record breaker QB numbers again this year. This video game offense is lead by QB Graham Harrell and he continues to follow in the footsteps of Kliff Kingbury, Sonny Cumbie, BJ Symons, Cody Hodges and put up just astronomical numbers(by the way how many of these are in the pros.....) At Tailback or what I like to WR #8 the doghouse living Shannon Woods is still not in good graces with Leach so the duties of go out and run to the flat will be carried out by Sophomore Baron "Von" Batch or Aaron Crawford. The OL this year is solid with all 5 starters returning and 2 potentially up for All-American votes in Louis Vazquez and Rylan Reed. But of course the Cadillac of this team are at wideout and perhaps the best in the country, the TO clone, Michael Crabtree is what all those tortilla flinging fans show up for. This offense should be fantastic. This team averaged 529 yards last year and it may go up this year.

Defensively or what I like to call Intermission until the show comes back on the field is actually going to have some talent on it this year. Jammal Wall leads the secondary with 5 picks last year which earned him 2nd team Big 12, which is saying something that this defense actually had someone voted on the team. They return 8 starters and are clearly a bend don't break defense, which with this offense is all they need. Their non-schedule as always for Tech starts out with the usual hard hitters E Washington, @ Nevada(should be a high scoring affair, Luppicott and Kirpatrick, but Tech will win by 20)and SMU(Sorry June, welcome to a Real conference) and UMass(Is Camby and Shakin Macon still there). As far as Big 12, Texas and the Huskers visit Lubbock and the road is fair with @ Kansas and wrapping up the year @ OU possibly for the Big 12 South Crown. So be sure when TIVOing the Tech games make sure to add a hour to the time cause this team is going to score some points.
