1.
Knowshon Moreno, Georgia
Moreno quickly established himself as one of the best running backs in the nation as a true freshman
in 2007. He's a fantastic back with great vision and burst, but even his talent is surpassed by the spark he brings to the huddle. He was one of the biggest reasons for Georgia's turnaround last season because of his leadership and confidence. That's no small feat for a true freshman, especially in the SEC. Moreno is a big part of why Georgia is a consensus top 3 team heading into the 2008 season.
2. Terry Grant, Alabama
3. Ben Tate, Auburn
4. Derrick Locke, Kentucky
5. Arian Foster, Tennessee
KEEP AN EYE ONChris Rainey, Florida
His
spring game performance is why he's already a candidate for the
Sayers Trophy.
Charles Scott, LSU
One of the trio of tailbacks in Baton Rouge has to finally establish himself as the feature back. From what I've seen of the three, Scott has the most physical ability.
